The first installment of young adult paranormal trilogy FAE was an instant bestseller. Upon it’s release it ranked in the Top 10 in YA Fiction on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Kobo and iTunes.
Published in July by Diversion Books it is still growing in sales ranking in the Top 100 in Children and Teens on itunes’s ibookstore.com, holding between the top 1-300 in Fiction books on Kobo. The second installment of the trilogy, The Dark King is due for release in May 2014, and is already ranking in the top of the charts on ibookstore’s teen section. FAE was also featured on Barnes and Nobles emerging writer’s list.
Upon it’s release, FAE made the Top 5 books for 2013 on Emmy award winning entertainment news magazine program The List. Firsttoknow.com said that FAE was sure to be the next Twilight with endorsements from many celebrity fans who had read and enjoyed the book such as Giuliana Rancic, Bill Rancic, Brandi Glanville, Nicky Whelan, AnnaLynne McCord, Brandi Glanville, Robert Buckley, Chad Michael Murray, Carlton Gebbia, EllenK (Ryan Seacrest’s co-host on KISS FM) and Australian music sensation London Cries.
FAE also has a surprising fan base on Facebook (with over 23K followers) and Twitter and the fans are engaged, creating web pages and graphics for who they would like to see in lead roles for the film.
Fae is set around the The Lost Colony of Roanoke Island, North Carolina and is written by sister writing team C. J. Abedi (Colet and Jasmine Abedi). They have always had a love of writing and began collaborating on many projects when they were very young. Their passion for all things creative led them to the world of the entertainment industry where they have worked since completing their education.
